Eclipse 10 degrees Cancer 15 minutes

 There will be a partial eclipse of the moon on New Year’s Eve, Dec.
 31.   Because of its timing, it will not be visible in North and South
 America, but will be visible over most of Europe, Africa, and Asia.

 The event will also mark the second full moon of the month in North
 America, thereby giving it the title of “blue moon.”

If we look at the U.S. Chart with Gemini ACD, the eclipse falls in the second house of our money and values.  We are monetarily broke.  Although, we might be emotional through this period,  I will still believe we have a strong value system,  in protecting each other.
The Sagittarius ACD chart would put the eclipse in the seventh, of open enemies, and the public relationships.  We have made plenty of enemies.  Whatever chart we choose to look at, we have serious problems, that will affect us emotionally.  We have to look, where this sign and degrees falls within our own natal chart, as to how this will affect us individually. Mars is still retrograde in Leo, which is setting off the “usual”  hostile countries.  The Saturn, Pluto square is shining the light on the continual bowing to the corporations and banks.  We will make slow progress, in clearing up many of those situations, but we are still on the roller coaster throughout 2010 !!

Dec 21, is also the day of the third and final Great Conjunction of, Jupiter and Neptune.  Just take a deep breathe.

 On December 20th, 2009, just before the Solstice, Mars reaches his
  retrograde station at 19°42′ Leo, in preparation for a period of
  retrograde motion in Leo that will last until March 10th, 2010. The
  effects of the retrograde period will continue to be felt until
  returns in direct motion on May 17th, 2010 to the degree where he
  first made his station (19° Leo 42′). The first beginnings of the
  effect take place from October 17, 2009, as Mars begins to slow, so
  prepare for issues to cloud in the Mars Shadow, especially if you have

 The effects of the retrograde period will continue to be felt until he

  think about ways of acting on issues and concerns which relate to the
  sign involved.  Scorpio in particular is liable to conflict and
 headstrong behaviour in the arena of career and  public image, because
 Mars rules Scorpio. We can therefore expect some
  serious sexual scandals in public and political life!

 Mars retro in Leo generates an aggressive, egocentric mood, inclining
 those most affected toward grandiose gestures and improbable schemes.
 Enthusiasm and inspiration, however, seem muted during this phase, as
 anxieties develop around image and ego-desires.  People in positions
 of responsibility, trust, or authority will need to watch their backs.

I will give credit to Ray Merriman’s Market Week, for his most precise, truthful planet predictions for the week.

 The Sun will square the U.S. natal chart’s  Uranus today,  Monday,
 December 14 and the translation ends when the Sun squares Saturn on
 December 25. Venus will then do the same type of translation, first
 with its square to Uranus on December 19 and then a square to Saturn
 on December 29.

The Uranus square will continue to cause stress,  frustration, and conflict to our lives. And cause unpredictable circumstances.
The waning square of Saturn and Pluto  exposes  the reality of excessive debt that still threatens to unravel the economies of both nations and individuals.   Do we pay down our debt, borrow more to expand the job market, or try and do both?

There is hope, as I said yesterday, through the rose colored glasses of  the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune approaching on December 21, and the presence of the Sun and  Venus in the sign of Sagittarius, Jupiter’s home, through December 21.

Any progress being made now, is still in favor of the Bankers, and Wall Street.  We are just being placated by a lot of nonsense rhetoric. There is no reality to the speeches.   We can continue our feelings of love,  giving and the spirituallity of the holiday season, until December 26th, when Mercury goes Retro, and  then we will not remember any of this anyway.

This week will start the count down to our Holiday plans, and to not let Uranus disrupt them.  Enjoy, the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction as it winds itself to a conjunction on December 21, to  the Winter Soltice .   Find the love in  planning,  giving and receiving  for the
wonderful spiritual time of year by feeling the joy of the Universe around us, and all it gives us.

The week has been either alarming or a joke! 

This Holiday, Celebration, Spiritual month, has not turned out as planned.

Today we had a brief  time of Moon trine Jupiter/Neptune but in opposition to Mars.  I feel the Neptune fog, but more predominately, Jupiter.  I want to burst out laughing, and say ” this cannot be seriously happening”?    Just keep up the sense of humor,  with the Sun in Saggitarius.

There is much controversy, and speculation,  amid  President Obama’s acceptance,  of the “Nobel Peace Prize.”   While it is an honor for him and the U.S.  it is debatable,  as to whether or not it is deserving?   In his speech, he says  ”some wars are justifiable”.   With the escalation of Afghanistan,  I disagree.    With all the corruptness, in the existing Afghan Government,  and the loss of blood and treasure,  I believe there should have been more negotiating.  With Mars Retrograde,   this  is another war that  could  put us in turmoil for years.   This is not an example, we should portray to the rest of the world.
