We elected our first Afro-American to our Presidency, in our history.

 We will experience the second exact square between Saturn and Pluto on
 January 31. (The first exact contact occurred on November 15, 2009.)

That was the day I started this blog?   Evidentally, I thought I was on a new course?
 Saturn represents our  structures, Pluto symbolizes power, and squares
 cause  friction.  This square continues to magnify  the crumbling
 foundation of systems that no longer work for us.

More sources of irritation and anger  this week  has been  a Mars opposition
to the Venus/Sun conjunction. This opposition, can cause our repressed
frustrations, to explode.
And we can add a Full Moon at 10 degrees of Leo on January 30, 2010,
just before the Saturn
Pluto square to get us primed for some  more  out of control emotions.

After all of this, are we ready to add more meditating and humor to our lives?

Take each day, one step at a time, very calmly.   Wait until Uranus really sets us off !

It occurred to me last night in the middle of the night,  that  maybe Obama is in a “holding pattern”,  for another administration, or something else ?  It is either true or I need more sleep? 
Mars is Retrograde, but I see promises, speeches, enactments, plans  started, only to go nowhere.  Everything gets delayed and stalled.  From the beginning, he stocked his administration with the old establishment, status quo people, clear back as far as the Reagan era.  This is a particular personal rant of mine, and it seems to get worse.  If there had been a serious plan of change, this would not have happened.  We will not make progress, until we have a clean sweep of the government administration, but maybe that was the plan too.
If  President Clinton did not prosecute George H.W. Bush for Iran Contra,  Clinton signed the Glass-Steigel deregulation law,  George W. Bush is back in the fold and his war crimes are being ignored,  how can Obama criticize his friends, and especially since he has the important
administrative appointments filled by friends of the establishment?   Who and what  does he start with, without hurting all these friends.?  He started his leadership with his back against the wall?  With a Saturn-Uranus conjunction, it appears that Saturn  still rules. !   Neptune’s conjunction to the U.S. natal chart’s  Moon,   may be  fascinating ?
As the week goes on, I will connect more dots.

 Neptune conjoins the U.S. Moon on the 27th for the third and final
 time in this series, which began a year ago. Neptune creates an
 atmosphere of uncertainty, and/or a vision for the future, perhaps in

 disillusionment with sports heroes continues, plus doubt about war
 efforts in Afghanistan.

  Saturn and Pluto’s second of three squares becomes exact on the
 31st and is in effect all month. This stressful combination challenges
 health, relationships, and career with an emphasis on endings and new
 beginnings. Politically, this aspect favors conservatism, as well as
 the overturning of conventional approaches. Deep structural changes
 can be expected.

Jupiter enters Pisces on January 17, 6:11 pm PST, 2:11 am or January 18
 Greenwich.   Jupiter in Pisces brings us a sense of forgiveness and compassion, as well as  a deep concern of our common humanity.   We are seeing a wonderful display in our rapid  Global relief to Haiti.  Jupiter in Pisces begins a time for we further develop the visions, group work, and idealistic social forms we found during the
 2009  Jupiter in Aquarius period. 
 We can be  liberated from old truths and moral values which “ limits more”,  than  give us freedom.   Jupiter  will be in Pisces from January until June 7, 2010  when it  progresses  to Aries.
Jupiter trantsits Aries until  Sept. 10, 2010 , when it returns to Pisces and
 remains until January  23, 2011
 We have  this brief period of Aries from  June until September, where we can use the innovative, pioneering spirit of Aries to continue humanitarian works more aggressively  and pursue more of our personal freedoms, or just be more aggressive  in violence.  Jupiter transits Aries from January 23rd, until June 4, 2011, where we really have the opportunity to make our own  drastic changes.   We will also have the aid of Uranus going forward and retro in both Pisces and Aries.  I feel we will come to another fork in the road,  in choosing  progressive humanitarian goals or keeping the old established  militaristic rules again.  We also have to face and deal with another Saturn/Pluto square the end of January.  I feel, no matter how painful it can be, we must break our old habits, of how we work with each other in the world community.

Knowledge of Eclipses are above my powers of  thinking, !  so,  I took information from two sites.  But, the repercussions from eclipses and retro’s,  I can certainly feel, and have knowledge of.    Just when one thinks their life is in order , boom !  we get a pivotital turn around !   We find ourselves going in a different direction,  which takes us out of our comfort zone !   It is all in the Universal Plan,  and we can adjust accordingly.   My opinion, is that we will be confronted with more scandals concerning the White House,  but Obama will recieve protection from Jupiter in his twelveth house.

This eclipse occurs at 25°01′ of Capricorn, on January 15th.
 in conjunction with Venus on the day that Mercury also turns direct.
  So it should be a beneficent and releasing built-up tension, and
 leading strongly towards a brand new beginning. With the New  Moon near the U.S. Pluto a brand new beginning. With the New  Moon near
 the U.S. Pluto a significant power shift in corporate structure may be underway, probably in the medical-insurance.   Lunar eclipses are about endings and solar eclipses are about  beginnings
 The passage between the two is akin to a death/rebirth
 journey in which we are asked to release the
 old and the dying in order to make room for the new. 

 This solar eclipse occurs in conjunction with President Obama’s natal
 Saturn in Capricorn, awakening both secret enmity and self-doubt. Saturn in his natal chart is in the twelfth house, and, with Mars retrograde
 and applying to his natal Sun in his seventh house of enemies,
 he also needs to deal with open enmity and confrontation,
 possibly even warfare.   So the knives are out.
 The stars are warning him not to permit himself to be stabbed
  in the back while fending off attacks from the front.   Mars first
  crossed his Sun in mid-November, then recrosses it in retro mode on
  Jan 21, with  Jupiter changing signs to Pisces. Mars releases
  this aspect in the first week of May 2010.   The Jupiter transit, in
  square to his natal Moon, and we  will see him rethinking his alliances and
 reconsidering in the year ahead what it is that truly makes him happy
 in his role.

With Mercury and Mars  Retrogrde, we have managed to skid by another
 week..  We will feel some of the pressure off,  when Mercury turns
 direct on January 15th.  This will be just in time to clear our heads
 for the next Saturn/Pluto conjunction on January 31st, full moon and
 more eclipses.  We will become more aware of our economic plight:  how
 we have been dumbed down and politically abused by our financial and
 foreign policy systems.  The time is coming to pull ourselves out of denial.

The year is starting off with real challenges.  With Mercury and Mars
 already retrograde, and  Saturn  turning retrograde on January 15th,
 we are spluttering to gain  our momentum.   We are still confronted with the on-going disasterous  problems  with  Afghanistan,  Pakistan,  Israel,  Iran and now,  Yemen.   We suffer the loss of our men in the military.   Our economic growth  is in a stagnation period,  also.

Saturn and Pluto are about control.  We have to take on our responsibilities, control our lives,  set goals,  and
set our minds to work for changes in our own lives.   All of this sounds boring,   but  ”we will do it.”
 I can see the only excitement for this week is photos of Putin on a winter holiday with his shirt  ”on”!

For the first time in my life,  I am not looking forward to a new year.   Seeing the old one go and a new year starting, appears to be just more of the same.

The rhertoric, is that we are a “Lost Decade”. 

Saturn in Libra turns retrograde on January 13th,  which will again form a square to Pluto for the second  of three squares and becomes exact on January 31st.  This  again is a stressful combination that will challenge us.  The Saturn/Pluto square  is also in aspect to the
 US Venus (3Cancer06),  and will bring our economic woes to the forefront again.
We will have another  Solar Eclipse  on Jan 15, in Capricorn  at 25 /01 degrees.
This should have a powerful affect on the U.S. Pluto and President Obama’s Saturn in his 12th house.
Jupiter enters Pisces on the January 18th,  which hopefully, will open our compassionate nature, and not our denial aspects.  

It is another year of hard decisions, and to get our own priorities in order.  Another year, to make our own spiritual happiness, and good times with friends, family and pets.  Start new projects that gives joy to ourselves and others.. Draw from our own personal  inner strengths. 
We do have the spirit and enlightenment to change our own environment, that has to be our Mantra.
